All about activites today to get our individuals mobile and thinking.

Table tennis tournament, lunch, pool and our weekly visit to Bake Battle Roll CIC.

This week we have focused on creating 3 small, detailed and individual led fairy villages.🧚‍♀️🧚🏽

These tiny masterpiece’s will form part of our newest project at Development Trust Doncaster - Bullcroft Memorial Hall.

Over the course of the next month we will be working on a very large raised flower bed, herb garden and wishing well area where our tiny fairy friends will live.

We can not wait to develop this area for the community to appreciate.🧚‍♂️🧚‍♂️🧚‍♂️🧚‍♂️🧚‍♂️🧚‍♂️🧚‍♂️

Today demonstrated what these amazing individuals can achieve.

Yes they had a great time bowling, but what you didn’t see is the adaptation for some of these individuals when a plan doesn’t go to plan.

Lego building was on the cards but circumstances out of our control meant we couldn’t do it, so a trip to Tenpin Bowling it was. Not to worry though, we managed to get some packs of Lego for these lot to build at a future date!

As always, our Thursday was followed by a trip to Bake Battle Roll CIC. Again credit where credit is due to these lot as they only remembered a new game they tried once last week!

Independent living skills today.

A shopping trip to the supermarket to purchase ingredients, packing and paying, then onto our session to prepare and cook.

8 wonderful adults making chicken & broccoli pasta bake to serve to the community.

A great health and well being session this morning for 5 wonderful individuals at Cusworth Hall.

It was the first day of the Cusworth Gardens Secrets puzzle game and they loved every minute.

A great activity for neurodiverse adults as well as families.❤️

We are looking for a small old fashioned glass display cabinet that locks, one that can be gifted to our organisation, for a revamp project?.

Something similar to the picture’s. Can collect.🙏

Managing to keep busy whilst operating the Charity shop today. Wednesdays have become a favourite for some of our individuals, getting to engage with customers and practising their work experience skills, whilst also engaged in Lego building, developing their fine motor neurone skills.

Well done guys, our little Lego collection is growing!!👍
