Recently we had the pleasure of hosting an early Christmas celebration for everyone at the Mexborough Smile Day Centre. Guests enjoyed a delicious festive buffet, Christmas music, a colouring competition and a very funny quiz that kept everyone smiling.

It was a genuine joy to put on this event. We always cherish opportunities to celebrate, especially when they reflect the moments and traditions that Roxanne loved so dearly.

We hope to create many more opportunities to uplift the community through our work with the Roxanne Thomas Project. Wishing you a joyful and festive season ahead.

A couple of weeks ago we had a wonderful day at Beamish with Mexborough Smile and friends. The Roxanne Thomas Project were able to make a donation of £200 to Toby, Gary and Kathy to help towards the cost of their tickets and travel together with their support workers Kelly and Sue. What a fun day had by all!! Even the rain didn’t stop us having a great time 😃

Hello everyone!

Our summer of giving has come to an end! We’re excited to share that our final donation for summer 2024 goes to one of our newest beneficiaries, DICE. Roxanne attended their events a few times, and many of her best friends still do. DICE is a non-profit social enterprise based in Yorkshire, providing activities, events, and services for people with disabilities.

Hello friends! Another photo from our summer of donations THANKS to your giving earlier in the year. Once again a big shout out to you all for helping us raise so much from our Roxy’s 40 for 40 challenge. We raised so much that we decided to ALSO give to place we LOVE called Growing Together. This is the second time we have given to them. They provide many of Roxanne’s friends with access to therapeutic benefits that the outdoor environment and working with animals has to offer. GOOD NEWS UPDATE! The garden transformation at Roxanne’s Day Center is underway. All because of your generous giving. We couldn’t do it without you!

Your contributions always make such a meaningful difference and we can’t thank you enough for your continued support and kindness.

As we wrap up our fundraising for Roxy’s 40th, we wanted to say a HUGE THANK YOU! It’s because of your generous donations that we smashed our target. We have now finished our fitness challenges for February. Gillian said her walking was done slowly, but surely. Well done, Mum!

Izzy & Aaron finished their running challenges last week! Both doing 40 miles in 4 days!! Wow. Aaron said he’s not been able to walk since 😆. HUGE THANK YOU to everyone that has donated so far.

Aaron has started his fitness challenge! He’s running 40 miles in 4 days. Today marks day 1 and he’s feeling good and excited for the next 3 days.
