A shout out this morning to our resident choir ACHOIRed Taste who are on their way to Britain's Got Talent auditions in London.

We had a sneak peak on Friday during practice and are excited to see the outcome.

£8 for 12 games of prize bingo.

50p a name football card, win £10 (adults only)

£1 meat raffle (voucher for Direct Meat Supplies, Home meat delivery, Doncaster )

FREE s**t dip entry with every ticket purchased.

No reserved seating first come first served.

Children welcome but must be accompanied by an adult and stay within the hall.

5.30pm -7.30pm (break at half way)

Doors open from 4.30 so you can browse the charity shop and try your look on our very popular tombola.

🌟 Why this event is different

While schools start earlier in September, we are intentionally hosting this event three weeks into the term. The first few weeks of a new school year are often when families begin to realise what additional support they actually need.

Our goal is to look beyond the initial first day rush and help families discover sustainable, year round support. Together, we can strengthen community connections and ensure local families feel supported through the entire school year and beyond.

🎒 What we are providing for families:

Free stationery packs, lunch boxes, and reusable water bottles for childrenFree refreshments and a warm, welcoming spaceA hub to meet local organisations and access vital advice

A reminder that the Helping Hands Community Centre will close to the public today at 4pm and re open on Wednesday 2nd September at 9am.

We are sorry for any inconvienece this may cause, if you are long standing customers you will understand we do this every year at the end of summer to allow our staff and volunteers to have a well earned break to spend wtime with children before thy return to school in September.

Thank you for all your support and we look forward to the upcoming Autumn season were we have lots to look forward to.
