Firefly is about life, living it to the full & enjoying every second, whilst raising cancer awareness, offering support, meeting new friends & the bringing together of communities, their culture & their arts. The Firefly Express provides free transport to Sheffield treatment hospitals to cancer patients and their families, we have a wonderfull team of volunteer drivers

Firefly would like to thank Gareth Ash for his amazing efforts in raising a wonderful £1,500.00 from sponsorship by bike riding from Barnburgh to Weston Park on Sunday 4th October.

Sonia is the ladies captain and they held a Ladys Captain Charity Night at Town Moor Golf Club.

Firefly would like to thank Thornensians Golf Society for your continued support, they held a Wayne Ebbage memorial golf day which raised a massive £2,415.79 to keep the wheels turning.

Firefly would like to thank the Sprotbrough community for supporting Firefly in their Scarecrow festival 2026.
It was a wonderful day in which we was asked to judge a portion of the exhibits.
A lot of effort and work went into everyone's inventions and as we walked around could see the community all coming together.
The best part was seeing the faces of the people that had won a bronze, silver or gold as we presented them with their medal and certificate.
The day raised an amazing £4,887.75 for Firefly Cancer Awareness and support, which is greatest amount raised to date by the event.
We cant thank you enough for your support and we wish you all the best for the years to come with this event helping other local charities.
