Edlington Community Organisation (ECO) is a community charity based in the centre of Edlington, Doncaster. Our aim is to improve and regenerate Edlington and its surrounding areas to make it a better place to live for all generations present and yet to come. As a charity we thrive off community involvement and partnership working alongside various groups and businesses. ECO was formed by a broad section of community representatives and residents wanting to make a difference to Edlington and create a voice / umbrella service for the community. The organisation is managed by a volunteer board of trustees who either represent a community group or themselves as an individual. We have a members list which consists of community groups, businesses and local service providers who we use to network with and work in partnership with to provide projects and activities that are needed in the area. ECO has achieved over 1 million pounds in funding and contracts to provide essential community services since its formation

📣 MESSAGE FROM ECO MANAGEMENT 📣

Things have developed since our last Karaoke Night update regarding “DJ” Tom

The “extended personal setlist” is apparently finished.

Unfortunately, Tom has now started talking about “the running order”.

Yesterday it was “my mic”.

Today it was “my audience”.

He’s started discussing an encore despite nobody having requested a first song yet.

Someone told him he was getting carried away.

He replied:

“With great power comes great responsibility.”

We’re fairly certain Spider-Man was talking about something more important than controlling a karaoke machine.

With 14th November getting closer, we need singers now more than ever.

7pm till late | £5 per person

Come and take your turn on the mic.

Because the fewer songs you sing, the stronger he becomes.
