In May 2026, The Hygiene Bank Doncaster distributed 2,047kgs of essential toiletries and household cleaning products across our local community.

That’s over 2 tonnes of shampoo, shower gel, toothpaste, deodorant, period products, laundry detergent and washing up liquid, to name a few, - items many of us take for granted, but which can make a huge difference to dignity, health and wellbeing.

Every single kilogram represents:

💛One less family having to choose between food and hygiene
💛One less child going without clean clothes or basic toiletries
💛One more person able to face work, school or daily life with confidence

None of this would be possible without our incredible donors, volunteers, partners and supporters who continue to stand with us against hygiene poverty here in Doncaster.

Thank you to everyone who donates so generously Flourish at Woodfield Park Community Interest Company

These bags have been unpacked, sorted and distributed this morning to our community partner organisations

Some of the luxury items are being used to teens heading to proms who struggle for these beautiful extras

Three more bags full of products ready to go off to The Hygiene Bank Doncaster thanks to our super generous customers, staff & visitors!

We are continually amazed to see how quickly our hygiene bin fills up, as you lovely people keep dropping off your donations, thank you so much!

The Hygiene Bank accepts new, unused, and in-date personal care, beauty, and household cleaning essentials, and distributes these items to those most in need in our local area.

A huge thank you to Tickhill & Doncaster Lions for their generous £250 donation to The Hygiene Bank Doncaster

This funding will directly support communities across Tickhill, Bawtry, Wadworth, Rossington, and Balby, helping us purchase essential hygiene products for our amazing local community partners.

Together, we are aiming to ensure everyone has access to basic hygiene essentials.

As the Civic Mayor Cllr Tim Needham and Civic Mayoress Chris Brodhurst-Brown’s term comes to an end, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks for your incredible support of The Hygiene Bank Doncaster.

Your dedication and commitment to our community have made a real and lasting difference. Thanks to your advocacy, we’ve been able to raise greater awareness of hygiene poverty. Through mayoral events we have raised £35,294.68 this year. Every penny has been used to support those who need it most in our city.

It has been an honour to work alongside you during your mayoral year. Your passion for helping others truly shines through, and Doncaster is better for it.

From all of us at The Hygiene Bank Doncaster - thank you for everything you’ve done.
