CAN YOU HELP?

We're currently running very low on:
👶 Size 1 Nappies
🪥 Children's Toothbrushes

These basic essentials help us support local families experiencing hygiene poverty, and demand is currently outstripping supply.

A special request to parents and carers: if your little one has recently moved up to the next nappy size, we can also accept opened packs of unused nappies, as long as they are clearly labelled with the size. Rather than letting them go to waste, they'll help another family in our community.

Behind every donation we receive is a volunteer helping to make sure essential hygiene products reach the people who need them most.

Here at The Hygiene Bank Doncaster, we're looking for a few more helping hands to join our friendly team of 19! Whether it's collecting donations, sorting products, or distributing essentials to our wonderful community partner organisations, every role plays a part in helping local people facing hygiene poverty.

The best part? Our volunteering opportunities are flexible, so you can give as much or as little time as works for you.

By volunteering with us, you'll be part of a caring community of people who believe that everyone should have access to the basic hygiene essentials many of us take for granted.

Christmas has come early at The Hygiene Bank Doncaster!

These wonderful items have arrived in time to be included in our Christmas distributions, helping bring a smile to many faces this festive season.

Thank you to clothesdoctoruk for the wonderful donation of beautifully scented clothing care bags ready to be distributed before Christmas.

While practical enough to be genuinely useful, they also feel like a real Christmas treat, offering a touch of luxury to those individuals across Doncaster who may not often receive gifts.

💛What a fantastic way to end National Hygiene Week 2026! 💛

Yesterday was a very special day for The Hygiene Bank Doncaster as we celebrated the end of a week dedicated to raising awareness of hygiene poverty and the importance of access to essential hygiene products.

A huge thank you to Sophie, aged 11, who spent weeks planning and running her own craft stall. Thanks to her hard work, creativity and determination, she raised an incredible £300 for our charity.

Sophie has now been fundraising for us for the last four years, and we're incredibly grateful for her continued support. Even more amazingly, she's already planning her fundraiser for National Hygiene Week 2027!

We also hosted a community meet and greet, bringing together community partners, volunteers and supporters from across the city. It was a wonderful opportunity to talk about the work we all do, share ideas, strengthen partnerships and discuss how we can continue our battle to improve the lives of people across Doncaster.

A special thank you to The Highfield Coffee Social for their fantastic support and for helping make the event such a success.

Together, we're making a difference, and yesterday was the perfect way to round off National Hygiene Week 2026.

💛Please Support a Young Fundraiser Supporting The Hygiene Bank Doncaster! 💛

One of our amazing young supporters will be running a craft stall on Saturday to raise funds for us as part of National Hygiene Week 2026

Although Sophie is only 11, this is her 4th year of fundraising for us! She has spent weeks planning and organising this wonderful initiative all by herself.

If you are near Sprotbrough on Saturday, please do pay her a visit!
