Thought this was fascinating and worth sharing.

A surgeon in London has carried out a historic prostate cancer operation on a patient in Gibraltar — about 1,500 miles away — using remotely controlled robotic surgery.

Amazing to see how technology is evolving and what it might mean for access to specialist treatment in the future.

The milestone procedure went well, with patient Paul Buxton saying he felt "fantastic".
