Doncaster For Valour. A Special Event.

10am to 4.45 Tuesday 10th November 2026 at Doncaster Corn Exchange.

A special event to commemorate the seven Doncaster men who earned the highest award for valour - the Victoria Cross. The event will support the Victoria Cross Trust who clean and restore military graves and memorials alongside educating the public in the stories behind these extraordinary men.

Our patron Rusty Firmin is attending at the Corn Exchange to promote, sign and sell his new book with co-author Neil Thornton.

There will be opportunities to speak with Rusty, the man with no gloves, and purchase his books that detail his service in the SAS including his role in freeing the hostages during the the Iranian Embassy siege

Remembrance brooches, painting, gifts, displays of period artefacts with re-enactors present to this unique commemorative event. Come along and commemorate men of extraordinary valour, for when we say their names we remember them.
