This website and our organisation is dedicated to the upkeep of the graves and the memory of Victoria Cross Recipients, many of whom gave their lives in military conflict across the world. We now have premises at Lakeside Doncaster where we have displays, retail and an airsoft range to keep our enthusiasts engaged.

Join us at the Danum this April for our first in a series of FREE talks provided by the chair of Trustees Victoria Cross Trust Keith Lumley!

During World War 1 over 120 Rugby Union Internationals were killed in combat including four of England 1914 Five Nations winning team’s back division, one of whom earned the Victoria Cross, the highest award for Valour. Keith Lumley will take you through the history associated with WW1 and Rugby Union including local men who represented Doncaster along with Thomas Bryan VC who played and fought with equal measure.
