To end Men's Health Week our Men Shed visited the graves of the 10 Hungerstrikers were each member read a bio detailing the life of each of the 10.
We also laid a wreath and were joined by friends of some of the Hungerstrikers. It was amazing to hear some of the personal stories and some special ones from our own men shed members.
Before we left Derry we took time to visit the grave of Gerry Meeks Meehan. Meeks drove us everywhere joined in with us wherever we went and is sadly missed by our men shed members who hold him in high regard.
This was a very special moment as it was the 45th Anniversary of the 1981 Hungerstrike.
We also enjoyed some social time together a great chance to share a story a joke and a bit of a slagging. This is what our group is all about.
