Please can you sign this urgent petition. The nature and wildlife we all love: birds, bees, hedgehogs - are being silently poisoned by a group of powerful chemical companies making billions selling toxic pesticides and fertilisers. The UK government can stop this, but they’re failing to act, so we have to build enough pressure to force them to step up and save UK wildlife. It only takes 2 minutes. Thanks!

😍Wow! Many thanks to the 50 -60 folks who turned up to our People’s Emergency Screening & discussion last night on a sunny evening with other attractions. ‘A hard film to watch but good to see facts about impacts on life in Britain and ACTION needed to protect life’. Great to see so many new faces to see some DDC & some town cllrs from Walmer, Deal & Sandwich. Sorry to run out of local updates / info links sheets: we will email out copies to email list. Two vital reasons that the Rosebank oilfield MUST NOT be allowed to go ahead:

The Rosebank oil field would lock the UK into decades of drilling for fossil fuel, and release more greenhouse gas emissions than the 28 lowest-income countries combined. People want a different future: a clean energy system that reduces our bills and protects the planet – instead of boosting corporate profits – and a future where workers and communities are supported. Rosebank represents the opposite.

This isn’t just a climate issue. If the UK approves Rosebank, it’s expected to send over £200 million to the Delek Group – majority shareholder in Rosebank and one of Israel’s biggest oil companies, which operates in illegal settlements in the occupied West Bank and supplies fuel to the Israeli military. The UK government should not approve a project that risks fuelling Israel’s genocide and oppression of the Palestinian people.
