Dartford Arts Network Dartford Arts Network is an arts and cultural organisation that creates and promotes creative opportunities for those in and around Dartford borough.

Dartford Arts Network is an inclusive arts and culture network for those in, around and connected to the borough. We aim to stimulate and engage the local arts community alongside celebrating the rich heritage and cultural value of the town through a contemporary dialogue, that foregrounds innovative and well considered ideas. We aim to encourage and support this through a variety of disciplines a

nd methodologies ranging from graphic design to moving image, illustration to performance, painting to sonic art. Through a series of initiatives and programmes we aim to develop projects that will economically and environmentally enrich the town, as well as sustaining and establishing it for future generations.

This Autumn, our Life Drawing Sessions are back by popular demand!

Class Dates remaining:

• Tuesday 11 November, 7–9pm
• Saturday 22 November, 1–3pm
• Tuesday 2 December, 7–9pm

Dartford Arts Network hosts final 3 x sessions of weekly informal and fun 2hr life drawing sessions.

All abilities welcome, no artistic experience necessary!

The classes will be loosely guided, but mainly allowing participants to freely draw the human body from life. Models will be holding a variety of poses across a 2 hour session with a short drinks break.

The venue is the Royal Victoria and Bull Hotel (also known as the Bull & Vic), an atmospheric listed building, with a private function room.

We will provide some basic materials and drawing boards/easels for use, but please feel free to bring your own if you wish (keep materials dry please).

Thank you so much to those who attended our inaugural Dartford Arts Network collaboration event. It was such an exciting creative atmosphere!

We chatted, we brainstormed, we overflowed with creative ideas and created connections which will hopefully lead to us all becoming more collaborative and engaged with each other in arts related activity in Dartford.

Our plan is to collate the information we discussed, and produce a short report with actions. This can then be addressed at the next networking event (date TBC) and we can see if we can facilitate some creative things and partnerships in the meantime...

Thanks again for a great night! Here is the DAN presentation we showed, for those who don't know who DAN are - the network was born from the regular meetups of local creatives for the Dartford Creative project in 2013 run by Dartford Borough Council. We went on to work with the council and many many local stakeholders and people across 12 years to the present, to create community art projects, and member-led artist opportunities.

Calling all Creative & Community Organisations and Artists in and around Dartford

Block your diary for 16th October 2025 6-9pm!

Dartford Arts Network (DAN) invites you to a FREE networking event bringing together creative and community-minded people with Dartford in common. Let’s see what happens when we connect, share ideas, and spark new collaborations.

For over ten years DAN has delivered projects from outdoor galleries and shopping centre installations to workshops, land art and arts fairs. Members told us they want to expand their skills, collaborate with others, and make a positive impact on community and environment.

The evening will open with a short introduction, followed by a World Café activity – “creative session meets speed dating”. In quickfire rounds, groups respond to broad questions on funding, goals, projects, etc., capturing ideas as slogans, sketches and mind maps. DAN will collate the results into a big-picture report.

It’s not all about working with DAN – we hope to spark new partnerships of every kind. After the activity there’ll be time to mingle, chat, and make connections.

Dartford Arts Network hosts 6 x sessions of weekly informal and fun 2hr life drawing sessions.

All abilities welcome, no artistic experience necessary!

The classes will be loosely guided, but mainly allowing participants to freely draw the human body from life. We will have accredited life drawing models holding a variety of poses across a 2 hour session with a short drinks break.

The venue is the Royal Victoria and Bull Hotel (also known as the Bull & Vic), an atmospheric listed building, with a private function room.

“Finlands nature with its vast forests and numerous lakes is in my mind and soul, inspiring my art. I find myself oscillating between this and my experience in England and merging the two into my work I love colour, my favourte medum is oil, but i also like experimenting in multimedia and different textures, materials and bases and digital art . Always (time allowing) drawing and sketching, I have been commissioned for portaits, taken part in over 50 entibitions, in London, Kent and also abroad.”
