Creetown Initiative was formed in 2002 by local residents who wanted to improve services and quality of life for people living in the Kirkmabreck Parish of Dumfries and Galloway. In 2004 the organisation officially registered as a company limited by guarantee and as a charity. We are ba

sed in the idyllic, small town of Creetown, at the foot of the Galloway Forest Park hills and beside the estuary of the river Cree. Creetown Initiative carries out local, regeneration and community projects and also provides consultancy services to businesses, organisations, charities and individuals. We have a skilled team of 9 staff, each with various expertise, including community regeneration, building redevelopment, fundraising, business administration, finance, environmental projects, renewable energy projects community art projects, marketing and design, filmmaking and youth work projects.

A big thank you to all who supported our bingo fundraiser on Wednesday - to come out on such a warm night was much appreciated - I hope you managed to win one of our great prizes 🤞👍
After taking into account any costs incurred for bingo books, raffle tickets, etc we raised £759.00 towards our Hall takeover and refurbishment, which is a great boost to help get us to our total 👌. We will be running other fundraising events in the future, so watch this space.........
