✨Dinner Dance Guest Speaker - Mr Tom Bell ✨

We are delighted to welcome Mr Tom Bell as one of our guest speakers at our upcoming Dinner Dance on Saturday 4th March! 🕺🏼

Tom is a Sales Representative for Tarff Valley Ltd and is also a director of Wigtown Agricultural Society 🌾. As a past Machars Young Farmers Chairman, Tom will have many Young Farmer memories to share! 😄

🌟Exchange Weekend with Skelton Young Farmers🌟

We kicked off our exchange weekend with dinner and drinks on Friday evening at The Cree Inn 🍻
On Saturday morning we enjoyed a tour of East Knockbrex dairy, kindly hosted by William Service 🐄🥛
We then visited Crafty Distillery for an interesting gin tour followed by a lovely lunch atThe scent o'galloway🍸🍔 On Saturday afternoon we travelled to Redbrae for a farm tour from our very own committee member, Jenni Cannon 🐮🐑 We then visited the Black Horse Hotel for some light refreshments before ending the night in The Central Bar Newton Stewart💃🏼🪩🕺🏼
On Sunday morning we enjoyed a tour of Baldoon Mains, by kind permission of Andrew Sproat 🚜🌾 We then finished off our weekend with a delicious carvery at the Harbour Inn 🍴

Thank you to Skelton Young Farmers Club for visiting us! 🤩 We really enjoyed meeting you all and giving you a glimpse of life in the Machars! We can’t wait for the return trip to Penrith in the summer! 🚌 😆

🌟Charity Tractor Run Donation🌟

This morning 5 of our members were very proud to present a total of ✨£1,800✨ to two fantastic charities, RSABI and Marie Curie UK!

Thank you to the local charity representatives, Mary Anne and Elspeth, for travelling down to the Machars today! It was lovely to hear from them how our fundraising will positively impact the local community! ☺️

A huge thank you again to everyone who was involved in our Charity Tractor Run on the 15th of January! 🚜 We couldn't have done it without your support! 👏🏻
