Gold Sure Start This page is for information purposes only of our programmes and events taking place and in the community.

Photos of children/parents will be uploaded only with their consent. Gold Community Partnership Surestart is an organisation here to help local families with children under 4 years of age by providing information, advice and services as well as help with returning to work, finding childcare, family support, family health and much more. We offer free services that are designed especially for families from the antenatal period until their child reaches 4 years old, regardless of income, benefits or job status. We work in 8 electoral wards – Gortalowry, Oldtown, Killymoon, Ardboe, Dunamore, Pomeroy, Maghera and Town Parks East 2 (Magherafelt). Contact us to check if you are eligible to register with us and join our range of programmes. Our page will be monitored between the hours of 9:00 am - 11:00 am and 3:30 pm - 4:30 pm Monday – Friday. Any posts will be responded to during these specified times only. Please visit our website for contact details of our different venues.

🌈 Pomeroy Developmental Programme for 2-3 year olds – Session One 🌈

What a wonderful session we had in Pomeroy! 😊

The children had great fun exploring the outdoor play area, learning through play and using their imaginations every step of the way. 🌳

Our mud kitchen was a busy spot, with little chefs creating delicious pretend meals and cooking up a storm 🍳🥣. The dinosaur tuff tray was also a big hit, encouraging imaginative play and storytelling 🦖.

There were plenty of opportunities to develop physical skills too. The children enjoyed walking through tyres, balancing on crates, and building their confidence and coordination through active play 🛞⚖️. They had lots of fun using the dumpers and diggers 🚜, kicking and throwing footballs ⚽, and showing off their basketball skills at the hoop 🏀.

We also got creative with mark making on the blackboard, giving the children the chance to express themselves through drawing and early writing experiences 🖍️.

It was a fantastic session full of fun, creativity, exploration, and learning. We can't wait for the next one! 🌈💛✨

🌈 Let's Play - Killeenan 🌈

A big welcome back to everyone at Let’s Play Killeenan! ❤️

We had a fantastic first session back after the break, filled with fun, exploration, and learning.

The children enjoyed getting creative with mark making on the chalkboard, experimenting with different movements and leaving their own unique marks ✏️. There was also plenty of building and stacking, with little ones working together to see just how high they could build! 🧱 This helped encourage teamwork, concentration, and problem-solving skills.

We also had a look through our new newsletter together, chatting about all the exciting activities coming up and sharing ideas for the weeks ahead 📖.

It was wonderful to see everyone back, and we can't wait for more fun and learning together this term! 💕✨
