Once again the 82 children of St Mary’s PS Stewartstown showed their joy in ‘children helping children’.
It was beautifully demonstrated at their assembly yesterday when they shared their unaided entrepreneurial skills with us.
The children raised the amazing amount of £500 during Lent. The entrepreneurs decided they could fill their blue mugs much quicker by designing and crafting jewellery and setting up shop in school, bracelets, necklaces, key rings, K-pop themed hair accessories filled their baskets.
An exceptional act of love came from a wee P3 boy who told the Principal that it cost him £9 for materials but he didn’t want reimbursed as it was all for MM.
The children were delighted to know their money will feed 26 children in Robbie PS Zambia, the school we sponsor.
A huge thank you to everyone involved from MM
