❤️ RESTART A HEART 2026 ❤️

Where do we even start? What an AMAZING day! ❤️

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello, have a chat or get involved. It was especially heartwarming to see so many of our former patients and their families. We also made lots of new friends. Thank you also to our own families, many of whom came to support us as well. Moments like these remind us exactly why we do what we do. ❤️

We were busy from start to finish, with so many people eager to learn CPR and how to use a defibrillator. It was particularly encouraging to see so many teenagers getting involved!

A massive thank you to Meadowlane Shopping Centre for welcoming us once again. As you can see from the photos, even their staff didn’t escape without having a go! 😂

As volunteers, we freely give our time to our community, but the warmth, kindness and enthusiasm we received yesterday made every minute worthwhile. We had some wonderful conversations, emotional reunions and plenty of laughs along the way.

And speaking of laughs… a special mention to our very own Community First Responder Sam, who kept us fuelled with his famous Smarties brownies! There was nearly a fight over the last few, but thankfully we managed to maintain order! 😂🍫

Finally, a huge thank you to everyone who helped set up, pack away and, of course, to our fantastic volunteers who worked so hard throughout the day. We couldn’t do it without you.

From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU for making us feel so welcome and for embracing Restart a Heart 2026 with such enthusiasm. ❤️

We’re taking a wee breather from the awareness activities this evening, but rest assured, we’re still ready to respond to any alerts that come our way! ❤️

The sun was shining down on us at the Kilcronaghan Vintage Rally, Craft Fair & Family Fun Day on 26th September. Our volunteers had a lovely day chatting and spreading awareness of CPR.

We were kindly invited to spend some time recently with the ladies at Kilcronaghan Church Coffee & Yarn.

First Responders Jackie McLaughlin, Kaye Purvis and Stephen Herron were delighted to accept a very generous donation from the group.

Thank you ladies for the warm welcome and for the donation. This will go towards the purchase of life saving kits for our volunteers ❤️👏🚨
