We received a kind invitation recently from Mid Ulster Bowling League to their finals night which was held in Cookstown Royal British Legion.

Cookstown Community Team won 1st place with Royal British Legion picking up 2nd.

We were delighted when we, along with another deserving charity, Brainwaves, were presented with the proceeds raised during the charity shield competition.

Thank you so much to Mid Ulster Bowling League for the kind invitation and donation ❤️.

Thanks must also go to the Royal British Legion team who donated their prize money to both charities as well 🥰. Very thoughtful indeed 🙏.

Pictured is Muriel McCullough presenting the winners Shield to Joe Crozier, Captain of the Cookstown Community team along with our amazing First Responders Amanda Weir, Samantha Curry, Emma Fleming and Linda Fields 😊❤️🙏.

🥳🥳LETS CELEBRATE SUCCESS🥳🥳

❤️Our 2nd class of 2026❤️

They’ve trained, attended meetings, completed online modules, trained some more and have been assessed throughout by Northern Ireland Ambulance Service.

Tonight Michael from K2 International put them through their paces for the last time. Their training is complete 💪.

We are delighted to say that all three of our newest recruits are now fully trained and ready to serve their community and we are so proud of them👨‍🎓🏆📜.

Community First Responder Leona Scullion
Community First Responder Leah Fullen
Community First Responder Ciara Conway

Three more legends ready to give up their time to help others 🥰.

❤️❤️❤️Welcome to the team ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Due to the ongoing support we receive, we have been able to equip Leona, Leah and Ciara with a full life saving kit each including a defibrillator 👏🙏. Amazing!

Thanks to Dalriada Urgent Care and NIAS as always for their invaluable support during the recruitment process.

Good luck for the weekend to 3 of our new recruits as they take on their practical training and assessments with Northern Ireland Ambulance Service 🥳🚑👏.

Ciara, Leona and Leah, you will smash it 💪.

Hopefully within the next few days we can formally introduce our newest, fully trained and fully kitted Community First Responders 🤞🥳🔥.
