Paid Position - Mentell Veterans Champion 🗣

We’re looking for an extraordinary individual within the community to help us spread the word about Mentell’s Veterans We Still Need You Programme.

This is an initiative already launched to provide mental health support to veterans, with the option of free, professional training as a peer-to-peer support facilitator.

You will be the face of the Mentell Veterans “We Still Need You Programme” within your community.

We are looking for someone who is:

• A male veteran
• Passionate about men’s mental health
• Based within the Cheshire East area
• Skilled in presenting, communicating and networking

We’re proud to share that another Mentell Workplace Wellbeing course is now officially CPD accredited. 💙

Introducing our new workshop: Su***de Awareness

This course is designed to help colleagues, Mental Health First Aiders, and Mental Health Champions feel more confident recognising su***de risk, having supportive conversations, and responding appropriately when someone may be struggling.

The workshop covers:
• Understanding su***de statistics and warning signs
• How to listen and respond effectively
• Creating safe and supportive spaces
• Knowing how and when to signpost for further support
• Practical skills that can be used both inside and outside the workplace

A huge well done to everyone involved in developing the course 🎓

The anticipation is almost over. 💙

Ticket and table sales are now officially closed, and in just over 24 hours, we’ll be opening the doors to our annual May Ball.

The blue carpet is being prepared, the room is coming together, and we’ve got a few extra special surprises waiting for the night too… 👀
