Volunteers’ Week is approaching!

From 1–7 June, we’ll be celebrating the amazing people who keep our Community Larder running.

Throughout the week, we’ll be sharing photos and thoughts from some of our volunteers. The friendly faces who give their time, energy and heart to make sure the Larder is here for everyone in our community.

Stay tuned as we shine a light on the people behind the scenes who make all of this possible!

FREE Bicycle check event
Saturday 13th June
10-12 am at the Larder
Riders MUST be wearing a helmet

Volunteers will be on hand to :-
- check bikes for common issues
- offer helpful bike care and maint tips
- advise if you need professional help
- refer you to a qualified bike mechanic if necessary

These volunteers accept no responsibility for the safety and condition of any bikes - the checks are advisory only

Join us at the Spring Garden Fayre at the Community Centre - lots of other tables with wonderful plants and garden related items. Come and grab a bargain!

Thank you for the wonderful support at our coffee morning this morning, nice to see some familiar faces as well as new ones. A huge cake stall sold out, and the tombola, raffle and WOF all went very well.
We make a net profit of £480 which we are very humbled by, this will help us with the running costs of our building.

Get your bike checked over for **FREE** just in time for the school holidays — or simply as a good excuse to get back out on your bike!

Our enthusiastic volunteers will be on hand to:

* Check your bike for common issues
* Offer helpful bike care and maintenance tips
* Advise whether your bike may need professional attention
* Refer you to a qualified bike mechanic if a more serious issue is identified

COFFEE MORNING

Saturday 23rd May 10.30am in the Legion. All welcome. Usual cake stall, raffle, WOF, tombola. Entry by donation. ALL WELCOME.

Does anyone have any surplus paint? We are looking to freshen up the whole annexe including doors, skirting boards, windows etc etc. Neutral colours would work best but happy to add a splash of colour to the doors.
