We are always looking for new committee members.

No equestrian experience required, if you have an interest in Civic Week and making the ride outs happen then come along and be a part of it.

One meeting a month, a few fundraisers a year and some time at civic week is all we ask 💙

We only have one meeting per month (this is always the first Monday of the month), and all that is expected is that you can help at the fundraising events (not all of them - just a few throughout the year ) and give up some time at civic week to help with set up, raffles, road closure marshalling etc.

It’s a great way to be involved and see Civic Week from another perspective 🤩

Presenting Coldstream next fundraising event is next Sunday !

You don’t need to be a runner, you can take a steady jog or a nice walk round this route too, all whilst raising funds for PC.

Or even simply share the post to spread the word for them 💙

Although Civic week is still in full swing, that's our ride outs complete for the week.

A massive thank you to you all for supporting us this week, on horse back, on foot or financially - it means the world to us and our principals.

Our hard working committee are still working on behind the scenes today tidying up, removing posts, rope, running routes and litter checking and we can not thank them enough. Without our committee non of your civic week ride outs would happen. Thanks to each and every one of you that make this week happen.

⭐️ All route timings are subject to change and may vary depending on weather conditions, changes of land and anything that occurs during the ride out.

❗️You participate in all events at your own risk, please have insurance in place for all animals & riders as CRA WILL NOT be held responsible for any injury / accident or issue that may arise with any human or equine participants or vehicles.
❗️Children under 16 MUST wear a wrist band with contact details for parent or guardian.
❗️Please respect all marshals, ridden or on foot. We are there to keep you safe.
❗️The chief marshal will set the pace of the ride accordingly and the cavalcade must remain behind CM at all times, this is for safety reasons.
❗️Please respect all signage with regards to Land Owners Requests – if it wasn’t for their cooperation, these ride outs simple would not happen.

❗️❗️DO NOT PARK IN GATE WAYS OR BLOCK ROADS WHILST WAITING TO SEE HORSES – TRACTORS / FARM MACHINERY / AMBULANCE / FIRE ENGINE / POLICE CARS MUST BE ABLE TO GET THROUGH AT ALL TIMES. ❗️❗️

Thursday 6th August: Flodden Cavalcade ...

Morning .....

[CORNHILL] Severe Delays ...
10.15 - No traffic allowed west bound to Coldstream, road closed at Collingwood. West bound A698 and A697 traffic can divert in Cornhill at Collinwood Hotel as option until 10.50 to take B6350 Wark road to Kelso.
!! Cornhill is fully closed at 10.50 - at Green Lane on A698, A697 at roundabout and B6350 (Wark road).
*Roads fully re-open in Cornhill at 11.20 approx*

[COLDSTREAM]
10.20 - 10.45 - East bound A698 closed in Coldstream at west end of High Street (The Lees junction) to allow Cavalcade to enter the High Street. East bound traffic can then slowly follow Flodden Cavalcade through Coldstream to Cornhill. This will be a severe delay.

11.20 - All roads should be fully reopened.............

A697 / Pallinsburn, Northumbria
11.45-12.20 approx - Rideout crosses A697 near Pallinsburn / Crookham Westfield. Road closed in both directions, for short period in this time frame.

Evening .....

[COLDSTREAM]
16.55 - East bound A698 closed in Coldstream at west end of High Street. !! Re-opens 18.00 !! This will be a severe delay.

[CORNHILL]
17.10approx - West bound A698 and A697 traffic stopped in Cornhill to allow Cavalcade to enter main road. West bound traffic from Cornhill to Coldstream will be able to follow the Flodden Cavalcade into and through Coldstream at reduced speed. This will be a severe delay. B6350 to Kelso option.

18.00-18.15 - All roads should be fully reopened.
