Coldstream Community Centre We are a hub for Coldstream’s community activities, a place to enjoy crafts, exercise, entertainment and events.

Our flexible space is available for hire - For prices please call 01890 883332 The Community Centre provides a focus for community activities – leisure, recreation arts and entertainment. Local voluntary clubs and groups organise regular activities in the Centre, with visiting bands, theatre and other groups providing entertainment. The After School Club and Youth Club provide care and activities

for young people. The centre is staffed by a part time co-ordinator and a caretaker This means that if you wish to speak to someone or drop in, then its best to ring or email first to check someone is in. We try to open the office Mon & Wed mornings at the very least and at other times to meet demands. Please don't try to post business adverts, this page is for promoting activities at the community centre and environs.

LET US ANSWER YOUR QUESTIONS!

We recently put out an advertisement looking for volunteers. We appreciate that before taking the step you may wish to find out more about what it entails.

This evening there is a meeting within the Community Centre Cafe for existing volunteers but it is also an open invitation to those of you who may be considering joining us to come along. It will give you the chance to inquire about any information you may need.

This is an opportunity for people who are interested in giving their time to the cafe during its opening hours but also to individuals who are willing to consider baking etc. which can be done at a time that suits you. All help is greatly encouraged.

The meeting is within the Community Centre Cafe this evening at 6.30pm.

WITH SUCCESS BRINGS REQUESTS!

Something that started off as a suggestion at the end of 2024, that moved quickly to becoming our now very well known and well visited Coldstream Community Centre Cafe needs your help.

We are actively seeking more volunteers both within the cafe during its opening hours on Sundays and Mondays but also individuals that are willing to bake behind the scenes.

Whilst the list of requirements may look daunting, any of our current volunteers will soon allay your fears in that regard, and be quick to tell you that it’s a very friendly and welcoming place to volunteer with lots of laughter included.

If you think you’d like to join us you can always come along and do an hour or so with current volunteers and you’ll soon know if you’d be happy to join us regularly.
