So if you fancy some outdoor nature activity for your little people, come and join us at 10.30 am meeting at the picnic tables by the lake. 🍂🍄

After a lovely summer break, we are ready to kick off our next round of Field to Fork Fridays on Friday 28th August.🤗

If you and the kids would like to come and join us exploring what’s happening in nature as summer moves into autumn, either on the morning session which runs 10.30 - 12.00 pm or in the afternoon from 2 - 3.30 pm. 🌳🍂🍄

Come and join us for some June family fun making nature discoveries and being creative in the outdoors at our next Field to Fork Friday on Friday 26th June.🌳🌺🦆

Book in for either the morning session from 10.30 am - 12 noon or the afternoon one which runs from 2 - 3.30 pm by emailing [email protected]. We look forward to seeing you then. 🌿🦔🐞

This will be the last Field to Friday of this current school session. We take a break in July but will be back at the end of August. 🌼🐾🐦

What a fabulous 2 days we have just had hosting RHET Scottish Borders Countryside Initiative Estate Days for Kelso High School and Eyemouth High School’s outgoing S2 and S1 respectively.

Over the 6 sessions offered each day, the young people learnt about different aspects of the estate and were made aware of the wide ranging job opportunities and career paths involved.

Huge thanks go to the estate’s gamekeeper, Cheviot Trees, The Tweed Foundation, RHET volunteer farmers, Field to Fork The Hirsel for their informative and passionate input, and to the volunteer group leaders each day.
