Earlier this month, our Juniors welcomed visitors from Police Scotland Argyll & West Dunbartonshire’s Youth Engagement Team. They spoke to the cadets about the role of the police and gave them the chance to try on some of their kit!

The remainder of our Awards Night photos. On an evening packed full of stars, a particular congratulations to AC Ewan on becoming selected for the highly prestigious role of Lord Lieutenant's Cadet for Dunbartonshire for 2026, and to our President, Lt Cdr George Troup, for 60 years of volunteering. George remains an inspiration to us all and we thank him deeply for the longevity and success of the Bankies. In the same vein, thank you also to our amazing CO, Lt Nadine Daly, who was awarded a naval commendation for 2026. This is one of the RN's highest honours. Finally, thank you to all who attended our Awards Night. We are most grateful for your support.

Thank you to our parents, guardians, volunteers, guests and, of course, cadets for making our Annual Awards Night Dinner at the Golden Jubilee Conference Hotel a very special occasion. We have a number of photographs to show but thought it appropriate to start with our newly promoted Petty Officer Cadet, Samantha. Through talent, get-up-and go and exemplary personal qualities she has not only reached the highest rank within the Sea Cadets but emerged as our Cadet of the Year 2026. Congratulations Sam on your thoroughly deserved achievements.
