The Boys of the 4th Clydebank Company enjoyed another one of our busy, fun annual Camps, based at Carronvale House (Scottish BB HQ), Larbert between Fri 1st and Monday 4th May.
As usual, we enjoyed a varied programme of on-campus activities such as putting β³, table tennis, archery π― and star and axe throwing competitions mixed with visits to a variety of external venues.
A lot of fun was had at The Realm VR, Edinburgh where the latest in virtual reality tech was available to experiment with π. We also visited the newly available Laser Tag π« facility within Tenpin Falkirk where many old scores were settled! π³π.
A very popular visit was to The National Flight Museum, East Fortune Airport in North Berwick βοΈππ©οΈ where among the many exhibits was the first commercial Concorde, accessible to board and have a look inside it's incredible cockpitπΊπΊ.
On the Sunday evening, the Boys and Staff did something really different, after decorating them, we released 25 large Chinese paper lanterns ππ to celebrate our 25th Carronvale Camp.
On the Monday afternoon, bowling skills were on display at GRID, Braehead π³.
On Saturday evening, we held our Annual Awards Presentation π ποΈπ₯π
where many trophies, medals and prize vouchers π° were won by the Boys, much to their obvious delight π€©ππ»ππ».
Importantly, this year, we are pleased to announce that two of the highest Awards in the Brigade were presented to two worthy candidates - firstly, the President's Badge to L/Cpl Finlay Riddell and the King's Badge to Sgt Will Logan - Congratulations Boys, you have made us very proud! Well deserved π ππ».
Attached are some of our many photographs, including our loyal mascot, Private Bentley who also had a great time ....
