Ribble Valley Live Steamers is a model engineering club based in Clitheroe, Lancashire. Train rides are available from around midday until 5:00pm on Sundays through out the year, weather and members permitting. We may run on other days, but again, it's members and weather dependent. No matter what your area of expertise, we are actively looking for new members to help us run the trains and Club.

As promised earlier today, we will be open for public running this afternoon. Hopefully just after noon.

We do have a few members booked on to attend the site today - I have enquired whether they're going to open for rides this afternoon, or if it's just for maintenance.
I'll make an announcement if and when I get a reply. Fingers crossed, as the weather forecast is quite pleasant!

So, it's Saturday evening on a wet Bank Holiday weekend, the last one until Christmas!

Having just checked the forecast for Sunday and Monday; Sunday afternoon is likely to be unpleasant, with Monday a much better bet, as far as liquid sunshine goes.

We do have a couple of members booked on for Sunday - but this will obviously be subject to the weather being better than the current forecast.

A few more of us are hoping to come on Monday; but as you will understand, the writer doesn't wish to drive 65 miles from home to get soaked.

I'll consider an update tomorrow morning,when the position for tomorrow afternoon will hopefully be clearer.
