Albert Edward – Delacy Lodge extends its sincere thanks to everyone who supported this year’s Memorial Lunch and helped make the occasion such a warm and memorable success.

Guests enjoyed an excellent afternoon of food, fellowship, and entertainment provided by the talented Hyndburn Singers, of which Tom was a longstanding and much-valued member.

Thanks to the generosity of all who attended, over £400 was raised in support of charities especially close to Tom’s heart:

* Air Ambulance
* The Freemasons’ Charity

A fitting tribute to a respected Brother and friend whose memory continues to bring people together in true Masonic spirit.

Monday Night (11th May 2006), we enjoyed a fantastic evening at Peaceful Valley Lodge No. 4111 in Darwen — or “Darren” as it’s affectionately known locally.
The Lodge hosted a wonderful Old England Night, and we were honoured by the presence of the Darwen Town Crier, Brother Darrell Council, who acted as Fine Master in excellent style throughout the evening.
An impressive £75 was raised in the Lodge room, with a further £300 collected at the festive board.
The harmony, fellowship, and good humour throughout the evening were outstanding.
Very well done to everyone at Peaceful Valley for putting on such an enjoyable and memorable occasion
