Since 2022, more than 100 incredible runners have taken part in the Cardiff Half on behalf of The Wallich. Our amazing alumni have all done something to prevent homelessness in Wales.

The link between LGBT+ stigma and homelessness continues. That's why Pride Month continues to be important to The Wallich.

🌈 Almost 1 in 5 LGBT+ people have experienced homelessness at some point in their lives.
🌈 Rates are even higher amongst trans people, with 25% having experienced homelessness at some point.
🌈 77% of LGBTQ+ young people gave, 'family rejection, abuse or being asked to leave home' as a cause of their homelessness.

The Wallich aims to create spaces where everyone feels safe and deliver homelessness services which respond to individual needs.

Pride month continues to be a powerful reminder of the importance of solidarity in the face of adversity.

If you're facing homelessness and identify as LGBT+, please know that all of our services are welcoming to everyone in our community. Check out your nearest service on our website.

Supporter Spotlight – Just Good Food✨

A huge thank you to Donna and Stephen, the owners of Just Good Food in Bridgend. This incredibly generous couple donate their unsold food to The Wallich community every Friday, making a real difference week after week.

Each donation goes a long way. With some collected directly by our rough sleeping clients, and the rest distributed across our emergency accommodation and supported residential projects.

We feel incredibly lucky to have the support of people like Donna and Stephen. Their kindness and generosity make a genuine difference to the lives of those we support, and we’re so grateful to have them as part of our community.
