The Trotters Lounge is getting really busy now and we urgently need a volunteer/s to serve tea, coffee and cake. Please consider helping us. There will be perks of the job, and you would be supporting a great cause. Are you interested, or do you know anyone who may be able to help? Please contact us.

Another announcement to share! 🎉

Thanks to funding from Dysgu Bro Ceredigion, the brilliant Morvenna from Active-Ability will now be joining us at The Trotters Lounge every other week, instead of once a month!

This is fantastic news!

Morvenna doesn’t just lead our seated exercise and dance sessions; she also sings with the group and chats with everyone about health and wellbeing.

We’re delighted that we’ll be seeing more of her, bringing even more fun, movement, and wellbeing to our club!

Just a little note: We appreciate that the exercise and dance sessions aren’t everyone’s cup of tea! Some of our members prefer to opt out and simply sit back, relax and enjoy a cuppa. ☕️

While we encourage everyone to give the sessions a go if they feel comfortable, taking part is entirely optional. Your choice to participate (or not!) will never affect the leg care you receive.

FREE ADULT EDUCATIONAL SESSIONS - LUNCH INCLUDED!

We’re excited to announce the first in a series of free educational sessions delivered by healthcare professionals, covering all things legs and feet!

First up is our talk and workshop, ‘Healthy Legs on a Budget’, delivered by The Trotters Lounge CIC Leg Champions.

We’ll explore how to look after our legs as we get older and discuss common leg and foot conditions, from arthritis to venous insufficiency.

We’ll share practical tips on what you can do to help yourself and show you that looking after your legs doesn’t have to cost a fortune!

You’ll also have the opportunity to sample a variety of moisturisers and take home a goodie bag packed with useful items, information, and treats!

A light lunch is included, too!

Best of all, everything is completely FREE, thanks to funding from The Employment Team at Dysgu Bro Ceredigion Adult Community Learning.

SESIYNAU ADDYSG OEDOLION AM DDIM!

Rydyn ni’n falch iawn o gyhoeddi’r cyntaf mewn cyfres o sesiynau addysgol am ddim, wedi’u cynnal gan weithwyr iechyd proffesiynol, am bopeth sy’n ymwneud â’n coesau a’n traed!

Y cyntaf fydd ein sgwrs a’n gweithdy ‘Coesau Iach ar Gyllideb’, wedi’i gynnal gan Hyrwyddwyr Coesau The Trotters Lounge CIC.

Byddwn ni’n edrych ar sut i ofalu am ein coesau wrth fynd yn hŷn, ac yn trafod problemau cyffredin sy’n effeithio ar y coesau a’r traed, o arthritis i broblemau gyda chylchrediad y gwaed yn y gwythiennau (annigonolrwydd gwythiennol).

Byddwn ni’n rhannu digon o gyngor ymarferol ar beth allwch chi ei wneud i helpu eich hun, ac yn dangos nad oes rhaid gwario ffortiwn i ofalu am eich coesau!

Cewch gyfle hefyd i roi cynnig ar amrywiaeth o leithyddion, a mynd adre gyda bag bach llawn nwyddau defnyddiol, gwybodaeth a danteithion!

We would like to say a big thank you to the lovely group at Moylgrove, Pembrokeshire Old School Hall for raising £180 for The Trotters Lounge CIC at their October Coffee Morning. Especially Margaret Adams for suggesting us. The donation is very welcome and will help our club continue to thrive. Margaret visited the club on Monday and presented the donation.

Monday club tomorrow, Lizzie will be there doing arts and crafts. There'll be tea and cake, and the usual legs cares. New members are always welcome.

Last week one of the club members sang a couple of Welsh songs and a few people enjoyed joining in. Another member who is a keen photographer brought in a few albums to pass around. Very talented! It's lovely seeing club members sharing their interests.

The Ship Aberporth for donating a meal voucher for our upcoming christmas event raffle.

It's lovely to receive such wonderful support from local businesses. Our club members use your services and shop in your town, and our aim at The Trotters Lounge is to help keep their legs healthy and support them to stay active and involved in the community.

Tickets are on sale for this event. Limited places are available, so do get in touch to purchase yours.

There will be 2 sittings, a raffle including great prizes for Mannuci's and The Ship Aberporth, and a few stalls selling Christmas art cards, Christmas wreaths, and a few Christmas crafts.

Some of the Trotters Lounge members will be singing a few songs for us.

It's going to be a lovely event so do buy a ticket and come along!
