Wrth inni edrych ymlaen at groesawu’r Eisteddfod Genedlaethol yn ôl i ardal yr eisteddfod gyntaf erioed, mae’n fraint inni rannu ffrwyth llafur rhai o’n disgyblion, mewn cydweithrediad â CardiShed yma yn Aberteifi.

As we look forward to welcoming the National Eisteddfod back to the area of the very first Eisteddfod, it is a privilege to share with you the work of some of our pupils, created in collaboration with Cardi Shed here in Aberteifi.

Bydd y Gadair hon yn waddol arbennig i gofio’r Eisteddfod ymhell tu hwnt i fis Awst — yn atgof parhaol i gymuned Ysgol Uwchradd Aberteifi o’n rôl hanesyddol a diwylliannol yn sefydliad un o’r traddodiadau Cymreig mwyaf arwyddocaol.

This Chair will stand as a special legacy, commemorating the Eisteddfod long after August — a lasting reminder to the Ysgol Uwchradd Aberteifi community of our historic and cultural role in one of Wales’s most significant traditions.

Diolch o galon i Cardi Shed a’n disgyblion am y cydweithio arbennig: cymuned yn cydweithio ar ei orau.

Our heartfelt thanks to Cardi Shed and to our pupils for this wonderful collaboration: community at its best.

I ddathlu'r Eisteddfod eleni, rydym wedi bod yn gweithio gyda myfyrwyr o chweched dosbarth Ysgol Uwchradd Aberteifi i wneud 'Cadair Eisteddfod' i'r ysgol. Defnyddiwyd pren o'r goeden ffawydd a syrthiodd gyferbyn â'r ysgol yn ystod Storm Darragh i wneud y sedd. Da iawn i Jude, Iwan, Chloe, Rhys a Jess am eu holl waith caled ac i Bob am ei waith amyneddgar.

To celebrate this years Eisteddfod, we've been working with students from Ysgol Uwchradd Aberteifil sixth form to make a 'Eisteddfod Chair' for the school. We used timber from the beech tree that fell opposite the school during Storm Darragh to make the seat. Well done to Jude, Iwan, Chloe, Rhys and Jess for all their hard work and to Bob for his patient work.

Yr wythnos hon gwelwyd diwrnod olaf ein 'Prosiect Crefft Pobl Ifanc' diweddaraf. Prosiect llwyddiannus arall sy'n adeiladu ar ein partneriaethau â Gwaith yn yr arfaeth / Futureworks ac Ysgol Uwchradd Aberteifi.
