CONNECTING BACK TO EMAN

📍 CANTERBURY MOSQUE

In the hustle of university life - deadlines, social pressures, and an endless stream of distractions - it can be easy to feel spiritually disconnected. This talk with Sheikh Jamal is an opportunity to pause, reflect, and realign with what truly matters.

Drawing on the Quran and Sunnah, Sheikh Jamal will explore practical and heartfelt ways to strengthen our relationship with Allah - not just in moments of worship, but in every aspect of our daily lives. Whether you are someone who feels close to your deen or someone who feels like they have drifted, this talk is for you.

السلام عليكم ✨

As you step into this new chapter of university life with a new environment, it can become understandably overwhelming. Thus we have created a useful guide for all to help navigate life as a student living in Canterbury! 📝

Our guide includes everything you need, including local halal restaurants and meat you can find, our recurring events and some useful dua’s to help you in your hard times 🤝

* Mungo’s can also serve halal meat upon request

Additionally, our beautiful Canterbury mosque on campus as well as the Rutherford Faith Space have made it accessible and convenient for all of us students who may struggle to find a space to pray during our studies 🤍

Remember that no matter where you are on your journey our ISoc is a space for everyone. We hope this guide can be useful for your daily needs and please do not hesitate to reach out to us if you need more information or guidance throughout the academic year ! :)
