Make Sure you get your tickets to watch the talented 'Just Men Singing' concert on Saturday 21st November 7pm. (Tickets are limited)

Tickets are £10 and proceeds go to The Hub Cafe and Community Fridge. Tickets are available on Eventbrite (link below), from the choir or on the door.

Just Men Singing are returning to Canterbury Baptist Church "For the Serious Fun of it", to support those who face food insecurity.

We’re delighted to be welcoming Just Men Singing back to Canterbury Baptist Church for another fantastic evening of music!

Following their very successful concert in 2025, the choir will be returning on Saturday 21st November at 7pm to raise funds for The Hub Café and Community Fridge.

Every ticket purchased will help support our work in the local community, providing food parcels, hot meals and support for those facing food insecurity in Canterbury.

Tickets are just £10 per person, with refreshments available during the interval.

You can purchase your tickets via Eventbrite using the QR code on the poster, directly from the choir, or on the door.

We’re so grateful to Just Men Singing for supporting The Hub and helping us continue to make a difference in our community.

On Friday 30th October we are having a Community Crafts and Art Sale. This is the perfect opportunity not only to appreciate the skills and talent of local talent but also to grab something unique ahead of Christmas.

So pop the date in the diary and join us now only for this wonderful celebration but take the opportunity to eat at the wonderful Hub Cafe.

There will also be our usual welcoming children’s play area, board games and a range of support services available, including Citizens Advice, ROAR Kent, EMIC, Connecting Canterbury and the Food Bank Link Worker.

EXTRA SUPPORT - What you need to know:

Helen from Connecting Canterbury can help with applications for the Crisis and Resilience Fund, including the Home Essentials Scheme, which can help with carpets, white goods, children’s beds and second-hand furniture. Please bring ID, your latest UC statement and photos of what you need help with.

Maria the Food Bank Canterbury Link Worker, can support with debt, rent and bills, benefits, grants and completing forms, as well as helping you access essential household items such as kettles and toasters. Please bring your ID and relevant paperwork.

Whatever brings you through the door, you’ll be made very welcome at The Hub.

🍪 CUPCAKES, BISCUITS & A LITTLE BIT OF KINDNESS ❤️

This Friday we’re getting creative at The Hub Art Group with something a little sweeter!

Come along and decorate cupcakes and biscuits with icing, sprinkles and lots of lovely decorations. You can make something beautiful to take home, or create a little gift for someone special — sometimes a homemade treat is the nicest way to show someone you care.

The Art Group is completely free and there’s no need to book. Just turn up, have a go and stay for as long as you like. You don’t need to be artistic or have any experience — it’s all about having fun, being creative and enjoying some time together.

And there’s more going on at The Hub too:

A healthy, hearty and affordable lunch
Time for a coffee, a chat and a bit of company

One of our very own volunteers recently signed up with Utility Warehouse and is now saving nearly £80 a month across their household bills! 🙌

We’re also delighted to be joined by Katy from Utility Warehouse on the first Thursday of every month, who is on hand to answer questions and help you see whether you could potentially make a saving too.

And there’s an extra reason to take a look… ❤️

Utility Warehouse are supporting The Hub too by donating back to us, helping us continue the work we do supporting our local community.
