Over 10,000 have now signed our petition.

When will FFA and FPH realise we are not going away? This is an invaluable natural green space, teeming with wildlife including protected and endangered species. We are not going away.

Urgent call for protesters

We are aware that โ€˜the announcementโ€™ will be made at 10am tomorrow (Tuesday 16th) and that there is likely to be some form of political presence, which means press interest will be quite high.

Can anyone who is available please make a placard and demonstrate outside Frimley Park Hospital from about 8.30am onwards.

Unfortunately none of HWRA can be there at such short notice, but any presence by the general public would be very much appreciated.

Just had confirmation from Edward Hawkins (SCC Councillor) that the footpath between Pendragon Way and the path alongside Heather Ridge is going to get a much needed short back and sides. Thank you, Edward.

The Book Shed is open for the weekend ๐Ÿ™Œ

Are you a big fan of Billy Connolly? If so, there are one or two (or five) books that you might be interested in. Not your cup of tea? Or can of Irn Bru? ๐Ÿ˜‰ Remember we have loads of other books, both fiction and non-fiction, for all ages.

Shed etiquette: we are quite full, but accepting small donations of books and complete jigsaws into the donation crates. Thank you ๐Ÿ˜Š

Have a lovely weekend, give the book shed a visit and maybe go away with a book about a well loved Scottish comedian ๐Ÿคช

The Book Shed is open for the weekend ๐Ÿ™Œ

Yes, the best (cough) Book Shed in the world is still here, now safely tucked away behind some new fencing. New signage will go up over the weekend to make this more obvious.

Looking for a new hobby? Maybe fermentation is calling to you? Apparently itโ€™s not just about wine and beer ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ. We have this, and many other topics covered by our non-fiction section.

Shed etiquette: we have space for donations, please keep quantities small and remember books and jigsaws only ๐Ÿ˜Š

Community news: an alternative pop up coffee shop tomorrow in the Scout Hut (entrance at back of Community Centre) tomorrow, raising funds for an exciting expedition somewhere adventurous! See flyer attached for details.

Have a great weekend, maybe visit a coffee morning, pop into the Book Shed, and maybe start something fermenting! โ˜•๏ธ ๐Ÿฐ ๐Ÿ“š ๐Ÿบ

The Book Shed is open for half term! Yes non-stop access to books 24/7 until Sunday 31st May.

The sun has got his hat on โ€ฆ (sing along if you know the words ๐Ÿ˜‰) and what perfect weather to wander to the book shed, pick up a book or two, and enjoy reading in a lovely shady spot somewhere โ˜€๏ธ . You could even learn a new skill, like knitting perhaps ๐Ÿงถ

Shed etiquette: we are quite full, but not stuffed, so are accepting donations at the moment in small quantities. If this needs to change over the week, weโ€™ll post an update.

Have a great week, enjoy the massive ball of yellow in the sky, and donโ€™t forget to pick up a book or two ๐Ÿ“š

The Book Shed is open for the weekend ๐Ÿ™Œ

Look ๐Ÿ‘€ empty shelves - how did that happen? ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ This means we are open for donations - we really need some adult fiction and some non-fiction books. We are still full of childrenโ€™s books so none of these please. Maybe send your child/grandchild to the shed with your books and tell them to pick up some for themselves to take home ๐Ÿ˜‰

Community events tomorrow: the pop up coffee shop is popping up in the Community Centre at 10am tomorrow in aid of the preschool. There is also a litter pick in Frimley Fuel Allotments tomorrow meeting in Pine Ridge car park at 10am. Check out the FFA page for further details.

Have a great weekend, maybe pick some litter, dash to the coffee shop then pop into the book shed ๐Ÿ˜ฎโ€๐Ÿ’จ
