Frimhurst Enterprises CIC is an exciting, community interest company set up to meet a growing demand for quality supported work for adults with learning disabilities in Surrey Heath and the surrounding area.

Getting creative to help our local Community.

Delighted that from April next year our team members will be able to use their disabled bus passes before 9.30 am to get to work on time.
We campaigned in 2019 attending a Cabinet meeting at Surrey County Council asking for them to not remove this concession without any joy.

Many of our team struggle to have a voice ( asking for a fare and destination is tricky) so this is really good news.

Today we undertook a little research to help us answer one of the questions in Frimley Health easy read survey for new Hospital build. On Tuesday we will be visited by Healthwatch Surrey and trying to fill in survey. Whilst walking through Frimley Fuel Allotments we saw deer, badger setts, walked in the shade of trees on a hot day and enjoyed a refreshing drink at the 19th hole!

Lots of work being done today to make grounds safe for all!

Such a cool place to be able to work and we love sitting under the shade of all the beautiful trees.

Lovely afternoon tea to thank Surrey Heath Tree Wardens for all the hard work they put into helping manage the trees and woodland Frimhurst Family House . Well done team, the cream scones went down a treat.

Some of our team were introduced to Sarah from Healthwatch Surrey. We are looking forward to helping to engage with Frimley Health re A New Frimley Park Hospital. It will take time and we will be doing a lot of preparation work to enable our team members to fill confident to express their own thoughts.

We are delighted to be performing alongside Wholenotes Community Choir on Saturday 4th July. We will be raising funds for Frimhurst Family House by selling cakes, raffle and asking for donations. Please come along and join us in celebrating summer.
