Caldicot Community Garden

Hello lovely locals 🌞
These daffodils are a cheerful welcome back to the gardens for us volunteers. We have been busy bees with spring tasks - such as weeding the fruit beds, tidying, clearing, sweeping paths, preparing the runner bean trenches, planting seed potatoes and kale, sowing seeds and digging in manure... We have been blessed with sunshine and blue skies. The birds have been singing to us and popping down for the tasty "snacks" that we dig up. We are not open for selling yet, but we will keep you posted.

Hi folks 👋

We are at the end of the harvest and so we shall no longer be open for the winter months. We would like to say a big "thank you" 😊 to all our lovely customers who have come along to look around, have a chat, select some locally grown produce and make a donation.

We look forward to welcoming you back in late spring 2026, when we will start posting here again to let you know what's available.

Meanwhile, we hope you have a Happy Christmas 🎄 and New Year 🎉

To the kind people who support Caldicot Community Garden

The gardens will be closed next week (13-17 October) but back open again the week after. We will next have produce available for donations on Wednesday 22 October.

That means our volunteers can take a break next week and are welcome back as usual between 10-12 on Tuesday 21 and Wednesday 22 October.

Please pass this on, especially to anyone you know who usually comes along but who may not have access to Facebook. Thank you.
