Youth club attendees enjoyed the Tetris challenge tonight as they thought carefully about where and how to place the shapes to balance the board. The young people also instigated a conversation about the recent social media ban announcements and shared their insights and thoughts about it... they made some very valid points.

A simple invitation to play this week at our Harvey Girls session, with a challenge to make some shapes. This opportunity soon developed into exploring what else could be made with lollipop sticks and blu-tack. It sparked creativity, challenge and the ability to change, review and adapt plans.

Sharing successes, trying new things and not afraid of a creative challenge or a competitive game. We're always listening to the voices of the attendees at our youth groups and strive to deliver to the highest standard.
Our youth group is fully funded by the The National Lottery Community Fund (thanks to the players) and the Department for Culture, Media and Sport.

It was great to see the young attendees at our Harvey Girls session this morning growing in confidence as they explored the activities and had a go at simple challenges. Sometimes a simple instruction can change the direction of play and build in incredible opportunities to explore new language, try new things and gain new knowledge.
