The weather outlook says “𝘀𝘂𝗻𝗻𝘆 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘀, with temperature at around 11-13 degrees Celsius.

There are Two Pay & Display ticket machines.
One accepts card payments and, you can also pay via a smartphone app called “PayByPhone.”

🦺 Volunteers, please arrive no later than 8:50 am.
🗣 First Timer and the main Briefing starts at around 8:50am.
🗣 Event starts at 9:00am prompt (as per countdown timer on tree).
🤫 Please KEEP QUIET for the event briefings.
⬅️ As always, remember to stay to your LEFT and be respectful to other park users (our 3 lap course is all on path).
👩‍👦Under 11's are more than welcome, but please ensure they’re close to a responsible adult/guardian.
🐶 Dogs are welcome and please remember it's one dog per parkrunner, on a short, non-extendable, hand-held lead only.
📸 No photos No problem, just let the Run Director know.

We had all four seasons during our 5KYW at Groe parkrun this morning 💨☔️☀️☁️❄️ - the hail was particularly icy 🥶 - but at least we started and finished with some sunshine 😎 💙

Delighted to be able to represent our Powys 5kyw and parkrun groups at the Senedd today at a celebration event sponsored by John Griffiths MS. From the 1st parkrun set up in 2008 with 56 finishers we now have 88 events and 3.3m people each week crossing the finish line. 62 parkruns have a 5kyw event!! What a great accolade but with huge thanks needed to all the volunteers and in particular our amazing event/run directors. For Groe that means Lee Jarvis.
