We are a group of some fifty or so men of varying ages who enjoy singing to entertain and raise funds Our HQ is at the Greyhound Hotel, Garth Road, Builth.

We are a group of some fifty or so men of varying ages (OK – we’re mostly in or beyond our middle years but we always welcome younger voices to join!) who enjoy singing to entertain and raise funds for good causes. Our Musical Director is Adrian Morgan and Accompanist Ann Bufton, two talented musicians to keep us on track, together and in tune. Our members are from Builth Wells and the surrounding area of Powys in the heart of beautiful Mid-Wales. The choir was formed in 1968 and we have a number of founder members still singing with us. We are a Registered Charity (No: 1061889) and as well as performing in charity concerts, we sing for weddings, private functions and at local funerals.

Sunday 11 October : After Dinner Concert The Metropole Hotel and Spa Llandrindod

The Choir performed its last concert of 2026 for guests visiting Mid Wales on a tour organised by Great Rail Journeys and staying at the Metropole Hotel Llandrindod Wells. The Choir performed in the newly refurbished Powys Suite with its new laminate flooring that greatly enhanced the acoustic for a choir concert. The Choir sang a wide variety of songs in Welsh and English giving the visitors a flavour of a typical Male Voice Choir Concert and at the end of the performance the guests expressed their appreciation of the Choir's performance. Adrian Morgan conducted the Choir and Bethan Thomas was the accompanist. David Power was MC for the night.
