Lady Forester Hospital Trust, Broseley The Lady Forester Hospital Trust provides residential care and a day centre in Broseley, Shropshire. We provide residential care, and also have a respite room.

The origins of the Lady Forester Centre stretch back to 1905 when the Lady Forester Hospital was built on the present site by the Forester Family to cater for the total health and medical needs of the people of the Broseley and surrounding area. Closed as a Hospital in 1989, as part of a national policy to close smaller hospitals, the Lady Forester Centre was opened as a Day Centre in 1995 after s

ix years of campaigning and fundraising by the Forester family and local residents. Today the centre operates within a modern refurbished building sitting in extensive landscaped gardens and lawns on the outskirts of Broseley. The support and services offered by the Centre have expanded to include residential and domiciliary care in addition to the Day Care Centre. The Centre’s facilities include thirteen single residential rooms, some with en-suite facilities, a respite room, large residents’ day room and dining room. We are a charity providing care and support to elderly people in Broseley, Shropshire. We have brilliant, friendly and professional staff who help our Centre to be what it is, a home. We provide domiciliary care and we also run a day centre in Broseley. Registered Charity Number: 1010199
