🏠✨ Our new building is officially open! ♿🌊
We’re thrilled to share that the brand-new West Bay Beach Wheelchair Scheme building is now open and fully accessible!
The ribbon was cut on Monday by the wonderful Gabriel Jolliffe from Mountjoy School, with special guests including Mayor Anne Rickard and our amazing supporters.

This purpose-built space will make it easier than ever to access our range of beach wheelchairs, including the floating Mobi Chair, with support from our dedicated team of volunteers.

The building was expertly constructed by PH Hardwill — a huge thank you to Phillip Hardwill, with Finlay as the talented stonemason, assisted by Malcolm. They did an amazing job, and we are so grateful for their skill and commitment to the project.

Founded by Elaine Leader, this scheme continues to grow — and this beautiful new facility marks a huge step forward in making West Bay more inclusive and accessible for everyone.
