An interesting topic this week - how do you feel about charities who ask you for money after you have contacted them for information? If I wasn’t poorly and stuffing myself with antibiotics, tea and House re-runs, I wouldn’t have taken the call, so I wouldn’t have known what an idiot I made of myself when I commended Breakthrough Breast Cancer’s TLC guide to you on Monday.

How is your summer going at the moment? Does a bit of sunshine make things seem better or worse? I'm enjoying spending more time with my boys and have even got a few jobs done around the house, but am still here to answer questions and generally keep an eye on Families Facing Cancer.

last week my older son is at primary school - is it an ending or just a new beginning of the next stage of his life? Big lesson for him to learn as he leaves behind most of his friends to go to a different school than them.
