We were delighted to be invited to attend the Youth Conference at Beverley Racecourse. Two of our amazing youth engagement team and our Co-Founder and Chairman Kimberley had a fantastic day, where the event yielded bringing together passionate professionals dedicated to supporting young people across the region.

It was especially powerful to see the National Youth Strategy being brought to life, with a strong focus on amplifying SEND voice and reinforcing the importance of regional youth support networks.

There were so many inspiring workshops and ideas shared throughout the day:

✨ Hey Smile – developing a youth network (Cat Bradshaw & Kerri Harold)
✨ Hull University – shaping and strengthening our workforce (Christine Smith)
✨ Exploring priorities in the East Riding
✨ Goole Youth Action – showcasing youth work in action ( Baker & Jackson)

A big thank you as well to Helen Jones-Brown, Strategic Lead for Youth Provision and Child Exploitation, and Dave Brown for their insights on youth voice and youth parliament through Community Vision.

We also had the opportunity to connect with a wide range of fantastic stallholders, all sharing opportunities, resources, and a genuine passion for improving outcomes for young people.

Days like today remind us just how vital collaboration, shared learning, and youth voice are in shaping the future. At Fuse we are proud to be part of such a committed and inspiring network 💬
