📍 Myth: “M.A.S.H is just Bridlington.”

We can understand where this one comes from.

Bridlington is home to our main office, but M.A.S.H isn't confined to one building—or one town.

Across a typical month, we provide more than 28 opportunities to access M.A.S.H through hubs, drop-ins, activities and family sessions in Bridlington, Beverley, Hornsea, Leven and Normandy Barracks, Leconfield.

And what you can access isn't determined by where you live.

Support shouldn't depend on your postcode.

Our hubs, activities and events are open to the Armed Forces community across East Yorkshire — wherever you first connect with M.A.S.H.

Different locations. Different ways to connect. The same welcome and support.

AN INTERVIEW SHOULD BE ABOUT WHAT YOU CAN DO — WE’LL HELP YOU BE READY AND CONFIDENT TO SHOW IT.

And what you can afford to wear shouldn’t stand in your way. Nor should starting a new job mean worrying about how you’ll afford the workwear you need before you’ve even received your first wage.

A practical, hands-on employment support project for veterans, serving personnel transitioning from the Armed Forces, reservists and military spouses/partners.

We’ll help people translate military skills, qualifications and experience into language civilian employers understand, ensuring they’re prepared for interviews and have the confidence to succeed.

Help shape the future of support for the Armed Forces community across East Yorkshire.
M.A.S.H (Military Assistance Social Hub) is an ambitious and growing charity supporting veterans, serving personnel, reservists and their families across East Yorkshire.
Through early intervention, practical assistance, community activities and welfare support, we help prevent small problems becoming crises and ensure no member of the Armed Forces community is left behind.

As we continue to grow, we are looking to strengthen our Board of Trustees with someone who can bring experience in fundraising, corporate partnerships or business development.

We are particularly interested in someone who can help us build sustainable relationships with businesses — generating financial support, fundraising partnerships, sponsorship, gifts in kind and other opportunities that can help M.A.S.H grow.

As a Trustee, you will also help shape the strategic direction and long-term sustainability of the charity.

This is a voluntary position and an opportunity to use your skills, experience and networks to make a genuine difference.

We're incredibly fortunate to hold these mornings at Hornsea Ex-Servicemen's Club, conveniently located close to the town centre and with ample parking available; it's the perfect place to come along, meet others, and enjoy a friendly chat.
