A big thank you to AJ Reddy Ltd 💙

We're delighted to have AJ Reddy Ltd, who run Marton Road Pharmacy and West Hill Pharmacy, as part of our Corporate Friends of The Hinge family.

As local pharmacies serving the Bridlington community, they do so much more than dispense prescriptions. Their team is there day in, day out, providing healthcare advice, support, and a friendly face to local people.

Their decision to support The Hinge through our Bronze Corporate Friends scheme reflects their commitment to the community and helping people access the support they need.

💬 Jaya Authunuri, owner and local pharmacist, summed it up perfectly:

"We're more than just a healthcare provider - we're part of this community. We live here, we work here, and we care deeply about the people who call this town home."

This week’s Movement for Mood session focuses on gentle movement through Chair-Aerobics - a supportive and accessible session designed to help improve confidence, mobility, and wellbeing at your own pace.

Whether you’re feeling nervous about exercise or just want to do something positive for yourself, you’ll be made to feel welcome.

For we wanted to introduce you to some of our brilliant volunteers 🌟

Tim started volunteering in November, initially helping behind the scenes in the food store and within just weeks had become a regular helpful presence in our Men's groups, Friday Food Store and Waste Not Wednesday. His brilliant logistical mind has also helped make our busy food store a well oiled machine.

Tim says he likes volunteering because "I meet a lot of people and get to contribute to the community."

This we wanted to showcase and celebrate just a few of our 20 inspiring and brilliant volunteers at The Hinge Centre ⭐️

Louise has been a friendly face at our community food store since 2023, and is often seen at our various fundraising events and community fundays where she's rarely still and always willing to throw herself into whatever's needed to keep things running smoothly. Louise says she volunteers because she loves "giving something back to the community, and it helps my mental health too"
