🏐 Bridlington Round Table Supports Sporting Memories 🏐

We were delighted to support Bridlington Sporting Memories with new Boccia equipment for their weekly sessions at Bridlington Town Football Club.

The group meets every Thursday, providing a welcoming space for local people to enjoy a chat, take part in quizzes and games, and share a hot meal. It's a fantastic initiative helping to combat loneliness and social isolation in our community.

After organiser Dom Taylor approached us for support with purchasing a Boccia scoring wedge, Round Table members decided to go one step further by providing additional equipment to help even more people get involved.

It was great to visit the group, hand over the new equipment, and see it ready to be put to good use!

💙 Supporting local people and local causes is what Bridlington Round Table is all about.

🍂 Welcome to Autumn! 🍂

Today marks the meteorological start of autumn, and while the nights may be drawing in, the team at Bridlington Round Table is already looking ahead to one of our busiest and most exciting times of the year!

Throughout the autumn months, we'll be continuing our fundraising efforts to support great causes across Bridlington and the surrounding area. Every pound raised helps us make a real difference in our local community.

And, of course, preparations are well underway for our much-loved Santa Sleigh Run 🎅🚜✨.

We're busy getting everything ready to bring festive cheer to local streets once again this Christmas.

The Brid Round Table boys headed to Pocklington last night for a spot of gliding. ✈️

A lot of excitement, a few nervous smiles, and several lads discovering that "flying without an engine" sounds much better after you've landed.

For 20 glorious minutes we were soaring like eagles... then back on the ground arguing about who looked coolest in the photos and who was definitely holding on too tight. 🤣

Good crack, great views, and surprisingly few screams heard across East Yorkshire. 😂

Bridlington Round Table goes airborne! ✈️

Brace yourselves, as this Thursday the lads are off gliding in Pocklington.

- Can Kinder achieve the miracle of sustained flight?
- Will Suggs fly with the elegance of a seagull swooping for chips off a tourist on the Promenade?
- Will Choirboy Mark float through the air like a soprano...or hit notes so high that air traffic control pick him up on radar?

Thoughts and prayers for the instructor 🛩️

One thing's for sure, the skies over Pocklington have never been in more danger.

Graduated? Congratulations. 🎓

Now what?!

Your mates are scattered across the country.

You've moved back home... or maybe to a new city where you know approximately three people (one of whom is your landlord).
