🔥 BEVERLEY RT vs : THE BATTLE REPORT 🔥

Tonight, Beverley Round Table 247 took on … and, not to brag too much, but we think we did quite the job. 🔫⚡

Did some of us forget to mention at home that we were out for the night fighting for our lives? Possibly.
Were dinners delayed, bedtimes disrupted, and suspicious “where are you?” messages ignored in the heat of battle? Also possibly.
But once those laser packs went on, domestic responsibilities were temporarily placed on hold. This was war. 😂

We definitely underestimated the amount of energy needed. Fifteen minutes sounds harmless until you’re sprinting through the dark, hiding behind walls, dodging incoming fire, and pretending you still have the lungs of a 19-year-old.

The battle was on.

Lasers flying in every direction.
Deaths in the thousands.
Every man for himself.
No corner safe.
No friendship guaranteed.
No tactical plan successfully followed.

There were heroic charges, questionable accuracy, dramatic ambushes, tactical hiding, and at least one person who absolutely claimed they “definitely had them first”.

But that’s what Round Table is all about — getting out, having a laugh, trying something different, meeting up with other Tables, and making memories you’ll still be laughing about long after the final score has been argued over.

A massive thanks to for coming across and getting involved. The rivalry was healthy, the laughs were loud, and the evening was one to remember.

Now the question is…

How are Bridlington feeling after defeat? 👀
Will they come back stronger?
Will Beverley hold the line?
Will the next battle be on different grounds, in a different location, with a completely different skill set?

Rumour has it… dodgeball may be down the line. 🏐🔥

Different battlefield. Different tactics. Same questionable fitness levels.

Until next time, Bridlington.

Beverley RT 247 — doing more, laughing louder, and apparently surviving laser warfare.

Had an absolute blast tonight with Beverley Round Table 🔫🎳🍻

Laser tag may or may not have involved some questionable tactics, mini bowling definitely proved we’re all naturally gifted athletes (obviously), and the food and pint rounded it off perfectly.👌

Huge thanks for the warm welcome — top group and even better company!

As for who actually won… let’s just say the judging panel is still arguing. Official result: a very diplomatic draw 😄

Roll on the next catch-up… friendly competition pending! 💪

Yesterday, we were proud to present a £1,200 cheque to Christ Church Re-Store Pantry to support its Re-Store Pantry for the year ahead. 🙌

This funding will help provide weekly food deliveries to vulnerable individuals and families across the Bridlington area - making a real difference where it’s needed most.

Our team were truly inspired by the dedication and hard work of the Christ Church Re-Store volunteers. Their commitment to supporting the community is incredible, and our sponsorship of such a worthy cause was an easy decision to make.

This is exactly why we do what we do - giving back and reinvesting the funds we raise into our local community to help improve lives. 💛

Bridlington Round Table isn’t just a group — it’s a brotherhood.

We’re a team of young(ish), community‑minded blokes who love getting stuck in, raising money, backing each other, and having a brilliant time while we’re at it.

Every penny we raise goes right back into Bridlington, and we’re part of a national and international movement doing the same for their communities.

Being proud of what we do and achieve for Brid is an understatement.

If you’re looking for purpose, mateship, and a lot of laughs, you’ll fit right in.

Thinking about joining? We’d love to hear from you.
