‼️ Race Night CANCELLED ‼️

Our apologies once again but due to matters outside of our control we have been forced to cancel the upcoming race night on the 5th June.

All those with tickets should have now been contacted for a refund- if not please get in touch and we’ll sort for you.

Gremlins Carnival Club would like pass on our sincere condolences to John, Jackie, Marketeers Carnival Club and all of Emma’s family and friends on the very sad news we all heard on Saturday afternoon that Emma Britton (Emma Turner) had passed away.

One of Bridgwater’s finest ever daughters, Emma was an incredible brave and inspirational lady.
A true legend of her hometown which she loved so much along with her “My John” and through her radio show, she would champion our Carnival out to the wider audience both in Somerset and across Bristol.

There are so many that knew Emma within all the things she became involved with and felt her kindness and support in so many ways.
These moments will stay in our hearts forever.

We will all miss her terribly.

Gremlins CC would like to pass on their sincere condolences to Paige, Megan, Renegades, and all the friends and family of Tracey Brunton, who gained her wings far too early this week.

Tracey was a valued member of Renegades CC and held the position of their Chairperson… The sheer amount of comments found across social media show clearly how Tracey left a lasting mark on many a Somerset carnivalite.

Tracey’s career in Teaching and her devotion to local theatre both on stage and directing youth groups clearly demonstrates the passion she had for helping others and the arts.

Rest In Peace 💚

Apologies all, due to matters outside of our control we need to postpone the Race Night scheduled for tomorrow evening in Bar 27.

We are looking for dates in the future to rearrange and will publish these as soon as possible.

Sadly the club have more bad news. We are shocked and saddened by the sudden passing of our former joint President Wendy Smith.

Wendy joined husband, Dave (Ginger) Smith as Presidents from 2011-2013. 2026 also marked 60 years of dedication from them both to the club💔

All our love and best wishes to Ginger, Graham, Donna, Dave Jr, Shelley and all the family at this difficult time 💚
