To the individual who decided they needed the warning signs from under our carriages more than we do: thank you. We are a community based charity and we like to help the community but not in this way. Those safety warning signs are there for a reason and now we have to use valuable charity money to replace them. We will give you credit for one thing though, thank you for taking the time to undo the nuts and bolts and replacing them in the brackets, at least we don’t need to pay for new fixings.

We are a charity and all we ask is for people to respect our endeavours and our work, and not remove items from our property.

Another day in the Shed - every bench in use and work going on outside as well (yes they did do some work, although it looks like talking to me). As they say the Shed is doing what it says on the tin:
Fun
Friendship
and a cup of tea as well.

🛠️ March Skills-Sharing Special – Braunton Repair Cafe!

Drop in 10am–1pm, Saturday 7th March to learn:
🧦 How to darn a sock
🚲 Basic bike maintenance
🪡 Simple sewing machine skills

Plus help with zips, buttons, gadgets, and more! Every repair keeps stuff out of landfill, shares skills, and brings neighbours together.

Our volunteers can also help with:
• Textile repairs: zips, buttons, simple alterations, creative mends
• Small electrical fixes: radios, headphones, gadgets
• Mechanical help: household items, supported by Braunton Community Mens Shed

Every repair keeps something out of landfill, strengthens local skills, and brings neighbours together. And yes, coffee and cake are always on hand!

We’re a community repair space, not a professional service, so please stay while we work on your item and remember that all repairs depend on volunteer availability.

Volunteers needed! Please get in touch.
