Rehoming Sale of Craft & Textile Goods: Saturday 20 June 2026 12.30pm - 3pm.

We currently have stocks of fabric, wool, buttons, cottons and some good papercraft items for sale at affordable prices.

Looking for a hall or room to hire?

Look no further than your local Community Centre. We have a large hall and a variety of rooms, varying in size, available to hire by the hour or day at very reasonable rates.

• Hall suitable for gatherings of up to 70 people.
• Smaller rooms available for meetings, just the once or ongoing.
• Modern kitchen facilities – including oven, microwave and fridge with a serving hatch through to the hall (we can also help you arrange caterers if required).
• Disabled access and a properly equipped disabled toilet.
• Automatic plumbed-in urn which can dispense enough hot water to keep even the biggest of groups happy!
• Plenty of comfortable seating and free wi-fi on request, plus we have various pieces of equipment available – a screen for PowerPoint presentations (or slide shows), irons for craft groups, art books and so on.
• Car parking available.

Mastering Watercolours - Wednesdays, 12.30pm – 2.30pm
With Bianca Garcia £9.00 per class.
An encouraging environment to explore, experiment and develop the process of painting; to find your own unique way of using the wonderful medium of watercolour.

Are you terrified of drawing and painting but have a secret longing to learn how to do it? Was the last time you picked up a pencil or paintbrush at school? Have you just started your art journey and want to learn the basic skills for creating your own original art?
Then enrol to these sessions where Bianca will guide you through gently and step by step. The course programme starts with your experimenting using various mediums and practicing how lay the foundations and techniques of perspective, composition, tone, layering and more, as you gain confidence learning the tricks of the trade to help you get it right first time, and every time.
