Cards for Bravery is a charity dedicated to brightening the days of hospitalised and seriously ill children, people and their families mainly through the distribution of handmade cards. We provide a range o

f services, from the distribution of positive handmade cards, bravery packages and activity packs. This makes a huge difference to those going through some of their most tough and isolating times.

Beginning through the distribution to one hospital, we have grown over the years to delivering cards to hospitals and children all over the United Kingdom. So far, we have distributed over 20,000 cards and we aim to be able to do even more! For more information, please visit: www.cardsforbravery.com

This month is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and we wanted to share some facts about children who live with cancer in the UK.

Diagnosing cancer in a child can involve a variety of tests depending on the type of cancer. Getting a correct diagnosis ensures a child receives the best treatment and this can sometimes involve very lengthy stays.

We hope at Cards for Bravery, we can support these children through the distribution of handmade cards, bravery packages, and activity packs.

For more information on how you can support children and young people with cancer, find more at CCLG: The Children & Young People’s Cancer Association or Children with Cancer UK

In case you missed it, we are currently putting a temporary pause on card donations.

Our Cards for Bravery team has been incredibly touched by the kindness and generosity of anyone who has donated cards to us over the years.

Thanks to your amazing support, we have recently received an unprecedented number of cards. Over the coming months, these cards will be donated to hospitals across the UK so we can continue our mission to brighten the days of hospitalised children.

We know creating and donating cards is a special way that many of you support our work. This pause will give our team time to sort, organise, and distribute the thousands of cards we have recently received, ensuring they reach the children and young people who need them most.

We will let you know as soon as we are able to accept card donations again. Keep an eye out on our socials, or sign up to our newsletter for updates.

For the time being, these are other ways in how you can support us at Cards for Bravery
- Donate handmade items for our Bravery Packages
- Donate through JustGiving, Paypal or easyFundraising: https://www.cardsforbravery.com/donations
- Partner with us as a business
- Fundraise for us through a number of activities (A-Z would be part of graphic)
- Support or Bravery package scheme by donating to our Amazon Wishlist
