Hello everyone! This year we are planning to do the regular "balsam bashing" to remove as much Himalayan Balsam, an invasive species, from the park as possible on 6th, 7th, 10th and 11th of June 2026.
If you'd like to join us please meet in the car park of Marshall's Park at 10am. We'd recommend long sleeves to minimise contact with stinging nettles and gloves (we have gloves you can borrow otherwise).
Even an hour of your time would be much appreciated!
