This is so important and so very close to our heart! Rubie is sadly resistant to all but 1 antibiotics, this is because of the amount of infections and the high use of antibiotics in the past.
Thank goodness for this test, and for saving Willows life 🫂

🤍 FUNDRAISING EVENT 🤍

We had a fundraiser booked for 16th January but unfortunately the events person has had to cancel.

So...we are left with a large room at the venue, the possibility of either a buffet (chargeable within the ticket) or people being able to purchase food at the venue, from the menu, BUT we need ideas or offers of what we can do to raise money!

Its amazing how nearly two and a half years on, how sounds and smells still affect me.
The worst is the beeping of machines in hospitals but I only hear this in drs or hospitals, but up there with that is the sound of trains coming to a stop or pulling away and living near a railway station theres no getting away from hearing it often!

This is amazing! We had to use Martha's rule a couple of times throughout Rubie's hospital journey. Such a sad circumstance but she's saving others and helping parents when they are in such an awful situation and you feel noones listening or doing their best.

Martha’s Rule will be extended to hospital A&E departments in England, making it easier for staff and families to ask for a second opinion.

The rule was introduced after 13-year-old Martha Mills died of sepsis in hospital in 2021 despite her parents repeatedly raising concerns about their daughter's condition.
