EXCITING NEWS!
NEW VENUE!

As of the 3rd September, the junior club will be integrated into the club night sessions, which take place on Thursdays. Teaching will be 6:30-7:30pm and attendees are welcome to stay on, if they wish, for social chess with other members until the evening finishes at 9pm. As always, guardians are encouraged to attend with their youngsters.

Social chess will continue to take place from 6:30-9pm.

The summer that keeps on giving ☀️. Is the temperature too hot for chess? We don't think so! 😁. Chess club continues at Wake House on Thursdays, 6:30-9:00pm, all welcome, young and not so young, all abilities. Never played before? Why not come along, there's a warm (not the heatwave variety!) welcome waiting.
Not long now until the new competitive season starts and we can't wait! ♟️

The competitive chess season is now finished and both our teams have performed incredibly well in their first seasons in their new leagues. Well done to all!
