The competitive chess season is now finished and both our teams have performed incredibly well in their first seasons in their new leagues. Well done to all!

Last week we celebrated two years of Bourne Chess Club 😊. Chess games, party food and raffle, a great night. It was also an opportunity to recognise Tom, our founder and now honorary member and also present The Tom Ingram trophy to our most improved player 2025-2026, Ryan Stevenson. Thank you to everyone to everyone who came along to support.

Not bad, not bad at all!!
A very well done to our Cambridgeshire league team! They secured 2nd place in their first year in this league against some very strong, established teams. Credit to their captain David and his amazing players, many of whom are in their first season 👏

Junior chess club tonight (every Tuesday 6:30-7:30, Wake House). Eight under 12s attended tonight, various skill levels, and took part in chess puzzles and games, an hour of activities for £2.00. New members welcome 😊
